Was listening to Sirens again when I got home from work, remembered I heard part of AF's City With No Children on the drive home, You-Tubed that, and forgot about Sirens being paused. Went back and listened to AF 4 more times.
Dunno what this means, but wish LB would hurry up and leak, that and the new AF.

I'm starting to find this place fairly unpleasant.

Re: Lightning Bolt - October 15
I just want to announce that I've gone into Pearl Jam blackout.
I've been listening sparingly (MYM and Sirens about 6 or 7 times, everything else once) and I was going to pop Sirens on again tonight, but decided against it. Until I have those liner notes and a full quality copy of the music, ain't no Pearl Jam passin' these ears.
Just wanted to mention that. As you were.

Surely you can appreciate a well-executed comeback, despite being on the receiving end.harmless wrote:I'm starting to find this place fairly unpleasant.

Yep. Harmy - you are a very popular and valued poster. But, you have to admit it was a great comeback.theplatypus wrote:Surely you can appreciate a well-executed comeback, despite being on the receiving end.harmless wrote:I'm starting to find this place fairly unpleasant.

Re: Lightning Bolt - October 15
It was a joke about 'Come Back'.
I don't know; it's just "Pearl Jam sucks" vs. "Pearl Jam doesn't suck" all the damn time. If I could afford the 10 Club fee I'd probably be over there talking with fans. Sycophancy has got to be better than conflict.

I'll probably disagree too in the morning. I just don't like how both sides are being caricatured I guess. Don't worry, I'm just being stupid.theplatypus wrote:Disagreed x10harmless wrote:Sycophancy has got to be better than conflict.

I find myself checking The Pit far less the closer it gets to album time, seeing as the hub-bub there seems muted...or censored, I should say.
I pay my fees for the chance for tickets, posting there is a by-product; I come here for the jabs, the community, and the real info-- people willing to shit on something the band does.

Isn't it weird that there are some outstandingly disappointed people alongside some people pretty happy with the new stuff? It gets tiring. It's probably happened before.
