I think this would have been Evolution for sure in years past, but my estimation for Faithfull's only gone up over time, and they've become far closer to me. I'll maybe send the vote there this year.

Man. Two powerhouse tunes but Ed's finest is DTE.

Hadn't seen this video before. Never seen ed have so much fucking fun with this song too. Geezes, he's all over the place.

This is gotta be the earliest performance of it yea? Opening for the stones. Remember having a boot back in the day. Never saw the video.

Fuck, DTE is the best maybe.

This is the hardest match in this round for me. There's like 20 minutes left and I still haven't decided. "Do the Evolution" is a fucking beast of a song, just unhinged raving. It might be my most favorite aggressive Pearl Jam tune. "Faithfull" is soaring and life-affirming, a brief flirtation with the idea of something bigger. The palindromic structure of the song is an absolute joy and I love the little spoken word bits in the background of the closing verse. Two top tier songs that I am hating the thought of having to vote against.
