100%. Put the two best songs on a real album, and I’d probably love the both, but what a somniferous slog this is. It is remarkable how much he sounds like Scott sometimes, but he doesn’t have Scott’s gift of writing or stealing the perfect melodies.
I was so wrong. I love this album.

Anyone thinking of picking up the Tiny Music reissue?

Just looked this up: whoever decided outtakes and extra material should be sequenced identically to the original album tracklisting should be shot.

It makes no sense!

I got the Super Deluxe for Purple. I like it. My only complaint was that the CDs fit into the LP case (sleeve?), so if you want the CDs for a drive in the car, you have to take the whole record and everything.

I haven't decided if I liked Tiny Music enough to get that set, but when I listened to Big Bang Baby, I remembered how much I enjoyed this album.

I really didn’t care anything about Cheap Trick, but it was definitely in my top 5 shows. STP played almost everything they had out at that time I’d want to hear. No Still Remains or Army Ants but fuck, what a show.
