I was introduced to Pearl Jam through No Code and Vitalogy, so I worked my way back to Ten and I've probably had the opposite reaction to contemporary fans who bailed at No Code.

the next 2 albums are far and away better than 10. pick any other album between no code and gigaton and the highest 10 would be is 4th. i understand its importance as the debut album, but its not close to their best.

with that said, go isn't as good a song as black.
