Then Ed went off bashing soldiers and america and you had to go back to middle east lolE.H. Ruddock wrote:
It was 2003. I was home for a couple of weeks from the Middle East, in the height of the Iraq conflict. Before heading back, i flew to Vegas to see Pearl Jam. I was young, mad about going to war, ready to forget about shit for a few hours. The lights went down, the band came on stage, the crowd was cheering, and then they blew up in our faces opening with Go. My single favorite moment of any Pearl Jam show I’ve been to. Insanity. (Sorry could only find video of whole show)

It really drives me crazy that Ed always screws up the lyrics to Last Exit (mostly the refrains). They’re not that hard to remember.

Gotta go with Go
It would be boring for it to win 3 years in a row, but I can't vote against it here.

Last Exit
Loved it from the minute I first heard it. It was further elevated when they opened with it at Randall's Island Night 1 in 96. The pit that seemed to instantly form was wild and intense. It kicked my ass that night. But I'll never forget how I felt in that moment when those drums started.

Re: 252. Go vs Last Exit
This post is all about Dave A. and I love it. Coupled with the fact that it's up against thee Dave A. song in Go, you really can't choose poorly here.Stardog Champion wrote:Last Exit

And unless people come to their senses here in the final voting hours ... we're gonna be having an all Dave A. final matchup ... as it should be.
