Open was good
"Will they take it" was pretty funny
Prank Posse had some quick laughs
Update had some good punches, especially with the Matt Gaetz material.

Garbage episode. Cudi proved himself on comedy bang bang. All they gave him was the flute song. Should have used him more.

Random SNL thought:

I miss the weird characters that cast members used to bring. The writing these days is just so obvious and samey from week to week. its all topical and revolves around the current events of the week. Yes, i know SNL has always been there to comment on cultural happenings. Randomly on Instagram yesterday "Middle aged man" skit popped up (Michael Meyers and Chris Farley) - Now, its an awful skit, but had a certain charm to it.

Just got me thinking about all the weird characters cast members used to bring. The only time something like that happens now is maybe during weekend update.

Sorely lacking! Sad!

The best sketch were retreads; both the open and “what’s wrong with this picture?” have been on before. The game show though was silly fun. The only other one I liked was Star Trek.
Probably done until a finale run next month. It’s been a very so so season.

I thought the skit itself was weak, but I’d watch the Springsteen impression all day
Was it good? Maybe I don't listen to Bruce talk enough but I just found it grating and neither of those guys really looked the part.

Bold prediction for next show: Davidson and Redd will do a parody hip hop song featuring the musical guest.

Cold open was good.
Holy shit Marcus dropped some lbs!
Update was funny, Obama/Springsteen was probably closer to the real thing than I imagine. Iceberg was great.
Kid Cudi in a dress...sure, whatever.

Is it me or does Carey look old for 36?

I’m okay with Miley but Elon Musk hosting sounds like a terrible idea.
