Damn it, that's just about all the voters.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

corduroy gets the vote. eddie vedder at the absolute top of his game everywhere. that intro riff is so simple but so propelling. the studio version is as good as anything they've ever done in the studio. his voice is monstrous coming off of those first three chords. its one of the best songs they've ever written and encapsulates everything great about the first three albums.

There’s no way Pearl Jam starts their first show in who knows how long with a slow opener. It’ll be a rocker. And it’ll be Corduroy. And we’ll all be pissed because it’ll be a super-duper, special extended version of the call and response. Because the crowd loves them so much.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

oh i think the opposite: they'll open with a restrained number to really play out the tension. Release or Long Road, followed by Corduroy, would be ideal.

"Can you see us/this now?" will be another tempting lyric for a first-song-back.tragabigzanda wrote:oh i think the opposite: they'll open with a restrained number to really play out the tension. Release or Long Road, followed by Corduroy, would be ideal.

Re: The Finals (254): Last Exit for Corduroy
it definitely gets played, but I think they need the musical intro so the audience gets locked in
Release -> Corduroy for sure

A 256 song tournament should have 255 matches. Why is this only 254?
