Billiards
i've spent much of the last four years playing eight ball and nine ball. got sort of serious in the last two years. played in a bar league and in apa before the pandemic. mostly it was an excuse to fuck off in bars. but i love it.

Re: Billiards
i found and bought a beautifully understated brunswick conversion cue by jerry rauenzahn. i think he retired in the last year or two. it's stupid and in my defense i don't feel like this about literally anything i else i own, but i love it. it's one of a kind, it's beautiful and it hits well.

I feel like I am very good at billiards unless I am playing someone else. Especially if I respect that person. I get nervous and flub my shots.

A friend of mine was really into it, so I learned to play well enough not to embarrass myself, but that's about it.
