To give people the perception that they are attempting to get the calls correct when they really want to make replay such a failure that people will ask for it to be removed and go back to the old way?

It would have been much easier to review and get the calls correct if that were the purpose of this replay endeavor. I think the purpose of replay as constituted is to get people to ask them to get rid of replay.
That call at the plate last night was honestly one of the most insane calls I've ever seen.

It was an entertaining game anyway.

Hopefully an impetus to getting replay right.

The Mariners had a double header today.

They changed uniforms before the second game. That is bizarre to me.

1st and 4th would be my guess, but I could see them as high as a (distant) third.

C'mon, it's way more likely the Yankees are after Ohtani, given their pitching.

No way Trout goes anywhere, at least not until his late thirties.

Yeah, he's staying in Anaheim unless they decide to rebuild (which they would be stupid to do with Trout and Ohtani to build around and the Pujols contract about to come off the books) or if he's nearing the end of his career and wants to leave for a chance to win.
