I built a 2'x8'x14" concrete planter box yesterday. Going to plant some peppers and tomatoes on Wednesday. I'll use the holes on the side of the blocks for herbs and bulbs.

We did some planting last week. Maybe a bit late in the season but whatever. Texas sun makes up for it.

Planted roma and cherry tomatoes, jalapeno, banana pepper, ghost pepper, cucumber, japanese eggplant, okra, straightneck squash, and bell pepper.

Also planted some marigold, and various herbs (cilantro, basil and peppermint.)

We should have a mature garden by June/July.

Just picked about 50 limes from our key lime tree and it's only the third year in the ground and only about 4 feet tall. Have another 30 or so that will be ripe in about a week.

Got two 8 oz jars of juice out of the ones picked today.
