The worst part was probably the villain (as usual) and the ease with which it ended
Spoiler: show
stop! no! good doggy demon bear

Making Dani and Rahne fall in love was okay because they really needed to care about each other fairly fast for the ending to work.
The highlight was Magik and Lockheed, the actress surprised me by doing her justice. (She seems to be popping up everywhere these days)
I kinda wish they'd continue and do the sequel.
i liked how it tied in with the logan timeline

i really thought this movie was a lot better than given credit for
I may have to put this one on the watch list.
i dont think youll regret it. sams powers look pretty lame but the powers in general are almost an afterthought (oddly enough as some of their powers play a big part in the movie) as the movie i feel focuses on each character and why they are the way they are personality wise
Did the Mother Fucker pay extra to yell?

New Mutants is on HBO. I've watched it twice so far and find it enjoyable.

That makes me sad. The New Mutants from that period are very near and dear to me. It’s almost like I grew up with them. Indeed, I always said if I had girls (I did) I would name one Illyana and the other Danielle and call her Dani (didn’t happen). I really wanted to see them represented well on screen. At least Doug Ramsey wasn’t in it, I guess. (My fake bar name back in the day drew inspiration from Doug’s surname)

You needed a fake bar name back in the day? :| What's that all about?

We could be a bit, um, obnoxious from time to time and figured pseudonyms were a way to keep our anonymity. Actually paid off once for me. Alan Ramsey has pissed a few people off.

Just finished New Mutants. Not bad. Not great. The boys’ powers were amazingly disappointing. They did a great job with Illyana and I wish Rahne had become a total wolf more. The casting was fantastic but it still wasn’t perfect. I never heard Illyana with a Russian accent, tho. Being raised in Limbo, I would think the accent would be long gone.

Watching X-Men the animated series on Disney+, and the episodes are out of order--come on, Disney!
