I wish people would focus on the fact that having too many laws, too many police, and too much discretion over which laws to selectively enforce is a major contributor to all of these issues. Sign me up for reduced enforcement, even if decriminalization and repeal are better options.

This is a lot different than what Bammer said, which seems to be a week off so everyone appreciates them again. I know he probably doesn’t believe this, but I’ve heard plenty of people in real life say stuff like this, and they think this is a good argument.
