I wish people would focus on the fact that having too many laws, too many police, and too much discretion over which laws to selectively enforce is a major contributor to all of these issues. Sign me up for reduced enforcement, even if decriminalization and repeal are better options.
This is a lot different than what Bammer said, which seems to be a week off so everyone appreciates them again. I know he probably doesn’t believe this, but I’ve heard plenty of people in real life say stuff like this, and they think this is a good argument.
it's a complex problem that lots of people don't fully grasp. which just means they probably don't really care.

First time I ever flew to New York I got off at the wrong stop on the train and there was an ad there for police department job for €14 an hour.
They were just advertising it on boards.
Here you have to do a full four year college course(corrupt as all fuck) to be an officer.
Had a weird chat with myself.

If that’s enough? It’s probably not enough at all.
