God I love drawing with charcoal. Well played Stone.

...or something else.
But seriously, this sounds like a Stone/Jeff combo song.

As an exercise to illustrate my point, play the sound check version of Infallible next to almost any of the instrumentals on the Gossman Demos. Similar sound/vibe.
Looks like it just got the BoB-job for LB.

I worked with it exclusively for years. During those years I would suffer chronic and debilitating migraines and never made the connection( till a couple of years ago). Now if I do I have to wear a ridiculously huge mask and have ventilation.harmless wrote:Chalk pastel and charcoal makes me feel funny

I guess I never expected to go grunge with BoB on board. I expected something like this. But it might still be good in its own right; drop any expectations of an old sound.Iowaska_Experience wrote:As an exercise to illustrate my point, play the sound check version of Infallible next to almost any of the instrumentals on the Gossman Demos. I can't describe it, but they make my teeth feel funny, make me shiver and they're unpleasant to breathe around. I have no idea why that might be but chalk things always did that to me. I can hardly touch a chalkboard.Thejambi wrote:I worked with it exclusively for years. Maybe BoB is the "Lightning Bolt". He lights up the skies, creates stunning images, but ultimately can leave a path of danger, destruction, and death.

True story. While at the art store I watched a man take a piece of pastel, lick it and then look disappointed because it tasted like pastel.AllNiteThing wrote:harmless wrote:Chalk pastel and charcoal makes me feel funny

Oh, no doubt. That sound ain't coming back. I was just lending support to my idea that Stone will end up with writing credits on this with Jeff.harmless wrote:I guess I never expected to go grunge with BoB on board. Yeah, I've never eaten one and I can't explain why they have this effect on me. Oil pastel doesn't do it, but I don't really like working with them as they're difficult to blend.

What makes you so excited about Pendulum? I mean, not that you're wrong, I was just wondering which bit of the descriptions makes you excited about it. I like the sound of the Matt stuff.stip wrote:Guys, if this song is really good imagine how much better pendulum is gonna be!

The tour video has me going and the reviews have been nothing but positive. I love all of the songs we've heard so far, I mean really love them, but I wholly expect Pendulum to be my favorite.
