Brady believes it's going to make for bad football because guys (like him) won't be able to identify the D and direct the blocking or route adjustments that he calls out at the line of scrimmage. He believes that without said pre-snap organization it will lead to sacks, interceptions, and just sloppy offense.

Didn't the draft used to have its own thread here? And we'd have full mock drafts with everybody drafting for a different team. Good times.

They gave up nothing and got Carolina to pay most of his contract (at least this year). I'd say they're done with Lock and Teddy B. Is their safety net if things get weird tomorrow night.

yeah if nothing else they got a great deal on a backup, or a stopgap while a rookie develops

Happy Draft Day football fucks! Speaking of Draft Day, has anybody seen that atrocious movie? I've heard it brought up several times and recommended recently as if it were good! Can you believe it?

I love football, both college and the NFL, but cannot get into the draft at all. Probably the most overhyped event on the sports calendar.

I'm speaking specifically about it as a television event.

I just wish the first round went faster. Put the friggin pick in so I don't have to listen to Kiper and McShay ramble.
