there is a glass door between us, i must say... we've also occasionally gotten foxes and very often raccoons, one of which has become quite obese, to dine at our outdoor cat food deck buffet

the cats don't seem to mind

took this one about 2 weeks in michigan at sleeping bear dunes (it's somewhat deceptive -- i'm about 50 feet above my kids, and they're both about 400 feet above the water)
