I thought Rise had 3 awesome parts in it and the Falcon was pure awesomeness from start to finish. I really don’t understand the furor over Rise including Disney making it near impossible for everybody to get to do it. I can’t say enough good things about the Falcon ride. It’s the far superior experience.
From someone who hates the ST this is an ice cold take.
I’ll allow that hampered my enjoyment of it. It WAS a cool ride, no question. The Falcon ride is interactive and while Rise is, as well, you’re not controlling any of the action. In the Falcon ride, each member of your party is actually doing something. Manning the guns, piloting... and all in the cockpit of the Millennium fucking Falcon.

Does it play all the little computer noises when your in there?
They’re really gentle/subtle even in the films. I hope they went all out and they’re playing as you’re in there

I think so. It all happens so fast and you get the storyline the whole time so it’s hard to remember.

Cool. You should watch the falcon walkthrough on Disney plus. It’s genuinely cool.

That'll be the 50th anniversary. I wonder if that's on their minds at all.

At one point there was talk that one or more of the TV series would culminate in a climactic story event. Could that be connected?

Speculation will be fun!

I'm excited to see what's coming. I think I'll always have some level of interest in big screen Star Wars.

But watching The Bad Batch, I think I'd also be excited if Star Wars went completely animated. If every SW story from here on out looked like Clone Wars/Bad Batch I'd be totally fine with that.

After Solo and Rogue One, I think we need one more Star Wars story. Everything else is in threes.

That seems like what Rogue Squadron is going to be.

I know a lot of folks "in the know" seem to think Rian's trilogy is off the table and he's done with Star Wars. But it could be cool if the 2027 film ends up being the first of his trilogy. Be fun to celebrate 50 years of Star Wars with a brand new cinematic trilogy. Some good ol' Lucas poetry in that.

Everything about that apart from Rian sounds good. I don’t think I could take a trilogy of constantly subverting expectations.

But there's no reason to think that's what it would be. From all indications it would be a new thing. No expectations to subvert.

Yeah, then I can't imagine you'd be into anything he does within Star Wars. Fair enough.

Personally, I'm really hoping it still happens.
