Re: The Running Thread
He won't say it or even come in this thread at all, so I'll say it for him. B puts in more work on strava than anyone here and has been for a while. Recognize.

Re: The Running Thread
Today I ate a huge plate of beef and vermicelli about 20 minutes before a two mile run and slowed down by a whole half minute. Yikes.

Re: The Running Thread
Might have been the oppressive heat and humidity, now that I think about it.

20 mins isn't nearly long enough to let a meal sit. Good work getting out there though.washing machine wrote:Today I ate a huge plate of beef and vermicelli about 20 minutes before a two mile run and slowed down by a whole half minute. Yikes.

Re: The Running Thread
i never run in the morning, but woke up feeling fresh so gave it a go…did 5k in 29:40 which I’m happy with
tried to do really specific paces and finish strong…ended up doing the first two miles faster than planned, but my third mile was much better than normal so really it worked out ideally

I rarely run in the A.M. but am always glad I did when it does happen. Wakes you up and clears up your day.
