we're having about 6 people over this sunday out back...i get to do my favorite thing of getting up around 2am to get the green egg going for an 8 lb pork shoulder and sip on some brown in the quiet

every time you tell the story it keeps getting earlier

people are coming at 2pm instead of later...these big ones take 10-12 hours

why don't you just make it a day before and microwave it? one of them is just going to destroy your toilet while they're there anyway.

i'm not giving guests let alone anyone reheated shredded pork..i'm not a monster

i'm still laughing at the suggestion that you serve microwaved pork ... you of all people.

What are you trying to do with it: just cook or do you want a smoker compartment? More importantly, what’s your budget?

No smoker, and the fridge would be a nice perk but not necessary.
