Probably not the most efficient, but now that I've friended stores I know, I can go through them like this:

Image

Takes a few minutes, and I don't always find the stuff I want, but it avoids most of the problems bodysnatcher mentioned.

But you're right about the notifications. I have 24 items on my wantlist. Why do I get two notifications a day about 30-40 new items from my wantlist hitting the market? It's garbage.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Agreed. Really wish you could add specifics to your notifications, like only get notified about sellers in the US.

I never use the email feature, it's useless. I have a link saved that brings me to my want list in the store, US dollars only, new in last 24 hours, and I visit it a few times per day when I'm in a shopping mood.

I ordered the expanded reissue of Warren Zevon's "Stand in the Fire" earlier this week; it was the last copy at retail price I could find anywhere

I treated myself to a few albums this week. Ones I’ve been after for a long whole.

Miles Davis - Miles Davis Live at Carnegie Hall. For a long time this was my only jazz cd and it still reigns as my favourite.

The Black Crowes - Croweology. Love me some acoustic Crowes.

Blue Oyster Cult - Some Enchanted Evening (2 lap version).
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Merge Records has a 30% off page that they update every two weeks or so with new titles from their back catalog, including limited edition colored vinyl. Worth checking out!

https://www.mergerecords.com/store/30_off

EDIT: They do free shipping on every order, too.

Remastered HGM "Poor Moon" is a steal at $14. I'd jump on that if I didn't already have it.

I ordered a copy of The Decemberists most recent live album (it's basically Hazards of Love live) from Discogs and expected the black vinyl version--pleasantly surprised that it was the limited bone-white that sells for twice the price that came instead! Hazzuh!

I just recapture my youth at these things.

RATM - Battle of Mexico
Beastie Boys - Aglio y Olio
