guys, the second soulsavers album with lanegan (broken) is way underappreciated. its soooo good.

Beggar's Blues is maybe the saddest Lanegan tune of them all. I once asked him at one of the meet and greets he does after shows if he would ever play it live, and he grinned and was like 'probably not.'

that was my breakup song with my serious college girlfriend.

And ode to sad disco was on my 'man I hope this survives a few rounds for a late steal' pick

Fact: I could never get into the Soulsavers. Save Revival, that's a pretty good song. It all felt very dated, or something. I don't know.

Give Broken a try again. Even if you don't like the more cinematic stuff on there, there's 5 or 6 songs that are just killer. (One of which I will hopefully draft shortly)
