I really like it so far. It’s a game I didn’t know I wanted. So fun. Love the use of haptic feedback.

Man this just feels like an instant classic. I’ve never played anything quite like it and it really has its claws in me

How many hours do you think you've played so far? I finally got a chance to play my first run today and have no idea how far I made it.

Sounds good.

Got the first boss on my second full run and had it down the last life bar. The bullet hell gameplay is such a nice ode to their previous games.

Apparently some fans are getting very toxic about the developers patching in a save system.

I think that’s a terrible idea. It would change the essence of the game.

It would be very nice to be able to save the game. I'm not sure how that would ruin the game since you can essentially do this with rest mode right now. There are ways to disable save manipulation. Most rogue likes have this feature and the core gameplay loop is exactly the same.

Games should be more accessible, not gatekeep to keep away gamers with different priorities or schedules.

I dunno I think it goes with the feel. It’s a good artistic choice.

Pretty sure I'd hate playing this game but I've been watching a playthru and it's very cool, great design.

And developers should always tell hard-core "gamers" to shove it. One of the worst subcultures there is.

Spoiler: show
Having seen the endings, kinda glad I just watched this and didn't shell out for it. Although I guess you play this kind of game for the journey, not the destination.

That's the case for pretty much every game though.

It's really something you have to play to really experience and "get". I wasn't super impressed by the videos but they all said you just have to play it and they were right. The haptic feedback is incredible. I cannot play this game for 20 minutes without getting completely immersed, hands soaked.

Those flying manta rays that charge you relentlessly in packs need to all die painful deaths.
