I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Forrest Gump is one of my all time favorite movies. Easily top 50.

You don’t like Schindler’s List? Ok forget about it. We’ll never get anywhere with this.

Forrest Gump (lol Anders)
Goodfellas
Unforgiven
LA Confidential
Schindler’s List (Jesus Christ come on)
Fight Club
Of this list and Out of Sight there is only one really excellent movie on the list. And it’s not Out off Sight or Forest Gump

Putting Out of Sight ahead of Fight Club means you're on your own, pal!

I still haven't seen Unforgiven (I know, wease!) or Schindler's List. But I'd 100% put Out of Sight ahead of Goodfellas and LA Confidential. It's nowhere near as good as Fight Club. And I'd have to watch Forrest Gump again to know for sure but I'd say it's probably better than that one, too. It's just been too long since I've seen it to say for certain.

Do you have an opinion on Soderbergh in general?

I’m really surprised by that. Goodfellas is one of the best movies of all time.

Then I think you'll really dig Out of Sight. I think it's top tier Soderbergh.

I can't believe I was able to get my top 4 all time favorite movies on my team! That's bananas to me. Plus the Coen Brothers? Man! So far there's only been one movie taken away from me (Alien was my going to be my 70's pick).

And all of these teams have real strengths which should make voting difficult depending on matchups.

I mostly agree but it’s a bit bloated
It is 23 minutes longer than Out Of Sight.

I usuallly only feel good movies are bloated when they reach 3 hrs plus, or for poor movies when it feels like they go on and on and on. Don’t feel that way about Goodfellas at all though.

Rise of Skywalker is still on the board.
