I've seen almost all of Burt's movies. Matrix is a classic. One of the first movies I've loved. Mad Max is a very well made, fun action movie. Children of Men may be one of the best movies ever made. Blade Runner is good to great. Dr. Strangelove is a fun classic. Kurt Russell is cool and Charlize Theron is awesome. Nice theme team.

Malloy's team is very weird. I haven't seen any of his movies except Under The Skin and did not like it. I also don't know the actors or director. Maybe one day I will see the rest of his picks and have to apologize, but as for now I just have to go with Burt.

I really love Wendy and Lucy, but besides that, Under the Skin is the only other thing I know from Malloy's team

Burt's team is very strong. (haven't seen Stalker, though)

Yeah I'm just not familiar with Malloy's list and Burt's got John Carpenter and Kurt Russell. To show how little my opinion matters I thought Madeline Kahn was Bernadette Peters at first. I was gonna say loved her in the Jerk. :D

May have to go with Malloy because of what Burt did to me with the Blade Runner pick.

One should never encourage Burt by voting for him.

But ....

Burt.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

It's hard for me to rate The Matrix fairly because it was such a huge pop culture phenomenon and it was ripped off and parodied so much (and the sequels are unwatchable), but it really is a perfectly constructed movie that expertly explores some fascinating themes. Unique vision and innovative action/effects, too. I went into the theater completely ignorant of what it was about and was blown away. I try to remember that even though I'm completely over the aesthetic.

Two of the worst teams. I voted for Malloy just for sympathy.
