It's practically a perfect film. Accomplishes everything it sets out to do in a tidy run time. Great performances, flawless script, and with a timeless concept and execution.tree_ wrote:nah it's a great movie just not the direction I wanted to go

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Re: Movies, Actors & Directors Tournament: MD’s Final Pick
I'm not arguing. MD's right. I love the movie and it's great but just not the direction I wanted for my team. I was really close to picking it. For me, The Shining is a better fit. I needed a Kubrick movie.tragabigzanda wrote:Yeah tree you’re so wrong on this one.Monkey_Driven wrote:It's practically a perfect film. Accomplishes everything it sets out to do in a tidy run time. I can't believe everyone passed up the opportunity to have this acting power couple represent their team

I thought about Kidman, but Cruise is too one-note for me
