Re: tree_ vs. Vinyl Guy
Rosemary's Baby and The Thing are awesome picks, but overall tree's list looks slightly more appealing to me

Re: tree_ vs. Vinyl Guy
Tree strengths:
1. Meryl Streep
2. Daniel Day Lewis
3. Fargo
7. The Social Network
9. David Fincher
Vinyl Guy strengths
1. Nicolas Cage
2. Martin Scorsese
3. Kate Winslet
4. John Carpenter’s The Thing
6. Apocalypse Now
Tough call. Gotta give the edge to Vinyl Guy on the strength of Nicolas muthafuckin' Cage, the greatest actor of our age.

Re: tree_ vs. Vinyl Guy
This is tough. I really won't regret losing to VG's team. Everything is pretty great, except for Cage and Miami Vice. But I get their appeal.

Scorsese has more great movies than Fincher, but I actually prefer Fincher's style.
