I’ve seen five Tarkovsky movies, and probably another five Soviet movies of that era, and I’ve never been able to truly enjoy them, including Stalker. The exception is Solaris. Much better than the Hollywood version.

I wouldn't put it ahead of Fury Road, but I can see a lot of similarities now that I think about it.
