What a weird thing to say. I've never said a good or a bad thing about it. I love the tv show and I've always been interested in seeing the movie. I think it looks great. So, I'm still not sure what "it shows" means.VinylGuy wrote:that you havent seen it.epilogue wrote:It shows that I've never seen Miami Vice? What does that even mean?VinylGuy wrote:yeah, it shows.epilogue wrote:To be clear, I have no opinion on Miami Vice. Never seen it.

I guess both of those movies would be instant classics for you, based on what i think you like. The fact that you dont mention them lead me to the actual fact of you being in the dark with them.epilogue wrote:You figured that I'm interested in Silence, that I want to see it, that I love the leads, and that I'm excited to see the movie?VinylGuy wrote:yeah, figured.epilogue wrote:Nope. I guess that's the different between us, I don't care whether you've seen them and as such I won't judge you.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. Re: tree_ vs. Vinyl Guy
Yeah I would just consider the fact that basically every Judd Apatow movie has a director's/unrated edition so that tips the scales a good deal.
