I mean, SNL basically sucks these days.

I gotta say though: The Muppet skit was one of the best skits in years. That was fantastic and made it worth it

Maybe it was the full, live studio but that felt like the most fun episode of the season. Everyone seemed on their game and seemingly in great spirits with a "let's put on a show!" attitude. Not every sketch was good but none were awful. I liked the references to the early
season episodes and how it's seems like they were long past.
The last two segments of Update were probably my favorite part of the show.
Anna Taylor Joy surprised me how good she was a host; I would be shocked if she's not brought back at some point.
Little Nas X? I've heard that satan lap dance a song a hundred times already, enough that I think it's kind of catchy. He's the most famous person from the suburban Atlanta town I live in now unless you count Walton Goggins, who also grew up here.
Keenan said something about "see you at Thanksgiving", leading me think they'll be off until November. I think this is going to be one of those off seasons with several cast changes.

I’m wondering if this was Cecily’s last season. They haven’t announced anything, but she had a new show coming out, and her Pirro sketch, plus her tears during the monologue, had an air of finality to it.
