Winslet campaigned for the accent for authenticity. I guess she slaved over it.Mickey wrote:I agree about boy cop but I think Winslet has a really good DelcoE.H. only two episodes of Mare of Easttown left. Didn't expect what happened in the latest ep. at all, but I kind of think I've got the whodunnit part figured out now.

I want to reiterate that in this part of Pennsylvania it is incredibly unrealistic that everyone drinks Rolling Rock. Easttown is a Yuengling town, goddamnit.

this is exactly what I was telling my wife. I'm not from there, but I had a friend/roommate from there, and Yuengling was all he'd ever talk about.Mickey wrote:I want to reiterate that in this part of Pennsylvania it is incredibly unrealistic that everyone drinks Rolling Rock. Yes! Rolling Rock is brewed outside of Pittsburgh! Easttown is on the regional rail to Philly! C'mon!dad wrote:this is exactly what I was telling my wife.
