I grew up around that accent and i can’t get over the fact that they are all trying too hard to do it
I agree about boy cop but I think Winslet has a really good Delco
Winslet campaigned for the accent for authenticity. I guess she slaved over it.

LOL at the whole town wanting a piece of Mare, if she’s such a hag.

only two episodes of Mare of Easttown left. Didn't expect what happened in the latest ep. at all, but I kind of think I've got the whodunnit part figured out now.

really enjoying this series though.

I definitely think...
Spoiler: show
I think her ex knows, and is covering for John Ross, her best friend's husband. He's always kinda lingering in the background, and is super shifty.

I want to reiterate that in this part of Pennsylvania it is incredibly unrealistic that everyone drinks Rolling Rock. Easttown is a Yuengling town, goddamnit.

this is exactly what I was telling my wife. I'm not from there, but I had a friend/roommate from there, and Yuengling was all he'd ever talk about.

Yes! Rolling Rock is brewed outside of Pittsburgh! Easttown is on the regional rail to Philly! C'mon!
