The Fragile is an excellent NIN album, but it’s not even close really.
I bought Broken at a record convention as I never came across it and then The Downward Spiral at a used record shop. Seeing Lost Highway and The Perfect Drug getting airplay on MTV really got me going and I couldn't wait for The Day the World Went Away single, which of course I bought at the mall as soon as it was released. The VMA performance and then finally getting the album was something else, downloaded every Fragility 2.0 tour gig I could find.
