I actually went into the shop planning on buying a pair of Escalantes but they were out of my size. The sales guy talked me into the new Riveras above. Minimalist/zero drop like the Escalantes but a bit more plush. They felt great on a quick 2 mile run this morning. I could feel the road surface a lot more than I can with Hokas, but it didn't feel like I was just slapping my feet against the pavement either. And going from 5mm drop to zero didn't kill my calves like I thought it would. Didn't even notice a difference.

They're a bit narrow/tight. We'll see how they hold up on a longer run tomorrow.

I know it's unsightly, but I'm a big fan of a wide toe box. I wear my Teslas on walks and errands all the time and love being able to move my toes around in the shoe. Feeling the ground is a real joy.

Same. I have big fat feet so a wide toe box is a must for me.

Having experienced the joy of a walking boot, I am glad to run in Brooks Adrenaline for 7 injury free years.

I do miss my Adrenalines sometimes. I would get like 6-700 miles out of a single pair.

quite an extreme range there... I wouldn't buy them if they might die at 6 miles...

that’s frustrating, but it happens…you definitely needed a rest after going strong two consecutive days though

The Adizero Pros are just not a good shoe. Like running with slabs of cement strapped to your feet. They really seem to irritate my Achilles. Too bad because they look sick on foot. Put on the Speeds today and improved my mile pace without even trying.

Struggling to get ten mile weeks in lately. I can't seem to find those little pockets of time throughout the week like I used to.
