This article isn’t about memes turning people into Nazis. It’s about the techniques that extremists weave together in the interest of radicalizing others. And the opposite of “opposing increased government surveillance” isn’t “don’t talk about extremism anymore.”
I can understand why someone might be uninterested in the topic. Whatever. What I don’t understand is being bothered that the reporting exists at all.
