EDIT: For offshore generation we would need to have already been installing roughly 3/day at the start of this year at a density of around 8 per mile of coastline to get to that 11%. This is assuming they last >30 years.

There's no way this becomes anything other than niche. I like the handwaving over thermal storage. Whats the working fluid? Are we just going to move all heavy industry to the southwest?
