My wife’s 15 year old daughter, who had her first shot, has Covid. She’s having some pretty heavy symptoms. Been sleeping about 12-14 hours a day with fever and headaches for about a week. And she’s a fit, healthy kid. Gave us a good scare but today she came downstairs and was very chipper and alert.

Very doubtful she wears a mask outside of any adults in her life being around.

No, I'm saying she probably got it because she doesn't wear a mask unless her mom or dad are around to tell her to. When she's hanging with friends or her boyfriend, I doubt the mask is on. If she would have worn a mask, she wouldn't have gotten it.

That is so anti-science. If her friends had worn masks, her chances of getting Covid would have been lower. He wearing or not wearing a mask does not make a material impact on the chances of her getting Covid.

Well, first ... that's wrong.

And second ....

You think Ruddo's step daughter is taking her mask off when hanging out with her boyfriend, and he's keeping his on?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

So, I was being a little extreme with my mask statement just to rib verb a little. But anti-science? Lol. Do you mean fake news?

I am just prickly about Covid today. The complete lack of competence by every level of government in Canada has been truly stellar during Covid.

My dad finally came home yesterday after 135 days of hospitalization. The stats:

- 77 days on a ventilator
- 7 different medical facilities
- 4 ambulance rides
- 1 helicopter ride
- 2 car trips
- 36 doctors/specialists
- 1 new grandson

We are relieved and thrilled that he is home. What a ride that will surely last for years into the future.

Great news that he’s home!

Wow. Glad to hear he pulled through.
