The best question I've ever seen someone say they wanted to ask an artist/band was "What song of yours are you most surprised by how intensely your audience loves? And conversely, what song of yours are you most puzzled that your fans don't love more?"

I would be fascinated to hear what each members individual, honest answer to that question would be. You'd never get it out of them though.
that is a good question. You might get an honest answer out of that. It would be revealing, but it doesn't seem like that would violate any unspoken agreement in the band or anything.
I feel like they might want to avoid saying that something another member wrote gets much more love than they'd have expected.

Luckily it was pretty cheap here in the US. Also this was #1 on my most anticipated albums of 2013 list at the start of the year (I didn't think the Manics album would be finished), so I was prepared to skip some meals and perform some sexual favors to make sure I could buy it today.

Hesitation Marks is good alright, listening to it a lot. Is the chvrches album good? I gave the singles a whirl but I thought her voice was a teenie and the songs were very familiar. Is it more of an album or is there much beyond the singles? Expensive month with PJ and arcade fire too....

She has a small voice, that's kind of the point, but there's some atmospheric expansive music on there.

I'm completely blown away by it. I can't stop playing it. It's a beautifully cohesive album. We're all dying over it in the CHVRCHES thread if you want to pop in so we don't clog up this thread again with CHVRCHES love.

Remember when Ed was doing "Hey, ho, let's vote!" during Daughter at all of those 2004 shows?
