started High on the Hog (netflix) the other day. It's interesting, so will likely finish it out.

also might try season 3 of Master of None.

not better than true detective season one
Not even close
That was one of the best ever
S3 was top notch also

I'm watching the first episode of The Witcher. It's really bad. Bad CGI and even worse writing. I don't think I'll be continuing this one.

S3 is better than S1 and even S3 isn't as good as Mare.

I played it a little and my brother has read some of the books. The writing was just dire, as were a lot of the costumes, sets and CGI.

I'm considering continuing to watch it as a hate watch. I think we're going to try out Black Sails first though.

Part of the problem is that I've just rewatched Rome, Sopranos and GoT, so my expectations are probably a little high.

S3 is better than S1 and even S3 isn't as good as Mare.
Slight disagree here: S2 of True Detective is the best/smartest one (rewatch it, you'll see that I'm right), S3 is sentimental muck for fixed-income Boomers, S1 had the most promise but the worst payoff. Mare is better than all of these--perhaps not quite as ambitious as S1/S2 of True Detective but I'll take execution over potential any day.

South Park vaccine special

It was OK, some great moments, but I kinda prefer the language to be beeped out so it's not distracting.
