Re: NBA Thread
I know there is no post game in the modern NBA but why don't they post Freak? It's got to be better analytics than him shooting mid-range or driving wildly into walls. If I was him I'd just park myself in front of the TV and watch Dream or McHale post videos.

Because everyone said he needed to shoot threes.bada wrote:I know there is no post game in the modern NBA but why don't they post Freak? They need to push the three pointer out....far enough to eliminate the corner 3 and save the game.

Re: NBA Thread
There is nothing wrong with the corner 3. If anything, the playoff exposes teams that rely too much on threes to win.bada wrote:They need to push the three pointer out....far enough to eliminate the corner 3 and save the game.

But this current version of basketball might make a lot of sense analytically but it's not particularly fun to watch teams trade threes 8 seconds into the shot clock all night.Monkey_Driven wrote:There is nothing wrong with the corner 3. As opposed to midrange jump shots 10 seconds into the shot clock like the 80s?4/5 wrote:But this current version of basketball might make a lot of sense analytically but it's not particularly fun to watch teams trade threes 8 seconds into the shot clock all night.Monkey_Driven wrote:There is nothing wrong with the corner 3. Re: NBA Thread
At least in the 80s if you had a 3 on 2 fast break it was a layup not a three point shot. It's swung too far towards the 3. I'm not saying eliminate it just push it back and open up the court.

Re: NBA Thread
I'd be more for eliminating intentional fouls at the start of a fast break. That shit needs to go.bada wrote:At least in the 80s if you had a 3 on 2 fast break it was a layup not a three point shot. Re: NBA Thread
Make behind the three point line one foot lower. You'd have to shoot from below two point range court level and that would make games the no splash zone we desire. Just don't trip on a fast break.

Why does Trae Young get calls like he's a 10x All-Star?

Derrick got the same amount of first place MVP votes as Giannis. Just saying.

Did Holiday take 5 or 6 steps after the dribble on that game clinching layup?
