Re: NBA Thread
When he was with the Bulls I am not shitting you he was the worst basketball player I had ever seen. It's a combo of that and it being really annoying he's a somehow a serviceable player now.

Re: NBA Thread
Why not just a flagrant 1 instead? He obviously hit him in the face, I understand the head contact is something they’re trying to remove in all sports but that did ice the game, even though that series was thoroughly dominated anyway.Monkey_Driven wrote:Just saw the replay of Jokic's ejection. I understand how the rule is written and how this technically qualifies, but c'mon.

Re: NBA Thread
Should have been a flagrant one. The rule should be re-written to consider intent. He clearly was going for a hard foul on the ball.Electromatic wrote:Why not just a flagrant 1 instead? Just double/triple KD and make the other guys beat you, right?

Or...leave him open and double the 2nd best guy, that way almost no one but KD scores. It's not like he's gonna score 115 points.

Everytime I've watched the Bucks this postseason they look like they've completely forgotten how to play offense.

And now Kawhi's out. So many playoff injuries...

I thought load balancing was supposed to stop all that?

Re: NBA Thread
I think the players defer to Giannis too much. He’s not the smartest or saviest player. Beyond Coach Bud being useless, that’s all I can seem to come with to explain why they seem to start playing ineffective basketball on both ends at the drop of a hat. It’s so weird.

Re: NBA Thread
Yep. I credit Giannis with wanting the ball in his hands in big moments, but it's killing them in second halves of close games. The ball stops moving and they just take turns ISOing. I'd say the ball should be in Jrue's hands in those situations but he hasn't looked much better than Bledsoe in this series.
I think they can take it to 7 games, but if they couldn't close out a road game yesterday I don't know how they do it in game 7.

Re: NBA Thread
That's partly it. He also needs a coach that has the balls to tell him not to take 8 threes a game.verb_to_trust wrote:Giannis is a regular season player.
