Despite America reaching its latest, unfortunate threshold, overall daily case rates of the virus continue to fall as vaccinations remain widely available. According to Johns Hopkins' data, America has administered 310k vaccine doses as of June 15.

My 19-yr old rock star son has been in the hospital for a week.

He got covid late April from which he developed blood clots-- Leg and lung. He got better then he got sick again within days, spiking fevers everyday. Turns out the small amount of fluid around his one lung got fucked by the covid pneumonia he developed and it turned into a cesspool.

He had to have a chest tube inserted into his back, through the ribs to suction out the shit and piss that accumulated. This was Friday. It's still in him (Tuesday night) .

Because it wasn't draining as it should over the first 3 days, he had to have tPA (the stuff that saves stroke victims if administered early enough) right through the chest tube into his pleural arena . Luckily it worked and he drained 2 liters of shit, piss, blood, and pus last night.

His lung is partially collapsed from being squished up against said 2 liters of shit and piss.

He's 19 and was in perfect health before covid, never set foot in a hospital before.
