Agreed. They haven't shown a single image or video yet. My guess is it'll be their big Holiday 2022 release (v. Fable v. Metroid).

I'm betting holiday 2022 as well. Also kind of disappointed to read that Horizon, GOW2, GT7 have all basically been developed on PS4 hardware, but will be enhanced for PS5 (like every other PS4 game). I completely understand it from a development and sales perspective and I'm aware that this is the case for every console generation. Just sucks to have wait a few years before most of the big AAA games are built from the ground up on the current gen hardware. All the more reason why I'm looking forward to Ratchet!

All of my predictions (or desires I should say) would be for some kind of tease on the RE4 remake or even (possibly) some kind of Metal Gear Solid remake for the new console gen.

Nintendo owns the show. Zelda SS, Zelda BotW2, Metroid Prime Trilogy Remake, Metroid Prime 4, Earthbound 2, Bayonetta 3.

BotW2 is game of the show.
Earthbound 2 is the surprise of the show.

Sony shows its new IPs.

Halo will look polished. Hopefully, some Fable.

I'm guessing the "theme" of the show is resurrecting long dormant franchises.

Well, I was right about Halo. Of newly announced games, I'm looking forward to Tiny Tina, Metroid Dread, Mario + Rabbids 2, Advance Wars Remaster and Metal Slug Tactics.

It's looking more and more like Bethesda games will be Xbox exclusives in the future, which is very disappointing. I don't have a PS5 yet and probably wasn't going to upgrade for another few years, but this has the chance to push me in the direction of Xbox.

True. I've heard 2022 thrown around for Starfield, but I imagine we're still years out from Elder Scrolls 6. But if those aren't on PS5, I'll want to play them eventually--maybe wait until late in the cycle and try to get an Xbox S for cheap.

Ugh, i guess we all kinda knew this was the case but it's still a bummer to know i'm going to have to buy another fucking console to play these games. Or maybe they'll be fucking dumpster fires like Fallout 76 and i can just write Bethesda off.

They spent $7.5 billion on Bethesda. Of course they’re going to make everything exclusive. The only one I would say won’t be is that Indiana Jones game but that sounds pretty far off.
