The other day, a friend of mine came over with pounds of raw oysters, then proceeded to shuck them in my sink. "Hey, no problem!" I said to him. However, he left a large amount of shells in my sink after he left.

It's true that I don't mind doing dishes, and it's pretty easy to clean up oyster shells, but come on.

That's pretty inconsiderate and not good oyster etiquette.

Only reason we have any at the moment is because we just finished dinner. Still, get here and wash them, please?

We can be bad about that, but we usually work together in the kitchen either both working on dinner or dishes, or one on each, but i would love to have a dishwasher at least for the silverwaware, i hate washing all of it

Someone offered to give me a dishwasher and deliver it to the house but I said no thanks. To be honest I can wash quicker than I can load the damn thing.

That Cooks Illustrated cookbook I got is awesome. Everything from it has been great except the waffle recipe which is just ok. Highly recommend.
