Third. I'm a musician too. I haven't compared the studio and video versions really, but I have watched the video and made a point of listening to Matt's drumming in the intro. Sounds bang on to me.
Yeah, I am, but I mean, I'm usually pretty attuned to the rhythmic side of things. Is the "flub," a fill that isn't in the video version?

Yes, the video version. It's both of Matt's first two tom fills, before the rest of the band comes in. They're quite obviously late and out of time. But I'm not going to fight the issue. I notice it, others don't, it's fine.guitar_davey wrote:harmless wrote:Guitarist?guitar_davey wrote:Birds in Hell wrote:That makes two of us!stip wrote:I actually still don't know where Matt's mistake is.harmless wrote:Dave A. never fucked up what is meant to be an official single video, though. The title track I really hated at first, but I came to a point with it where....eh....it's kinda fun.
Easily the least remarkable Tom Waits album since the 70's.
Agreed. There is a song that made me FEEL so many things--frightening, catchy, and thought provoking, all at the same time. Love it!

Every Tom Waits video I've played on youtube has been crap, in m opinion. I don't get the reason why he's so good. Some musical parts of one of the songs was ok, but his voice destroys anything good about these.
Sorry.
