The Battersea Poltergeist
Short series. Really cool investigation Into a family being plagued by a Poltergeist for 12 years back in the 60s.
Produced by a brilliant journalist and reems of evidence from a ghost hunter who was helping the family. It made national news in England at the time and multiple mysterious events In public around the girl the Poltergeist was focused on.
Well worth your time. Really well produced.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

if you're expecting regret, self-deprecation & bitterly funny yarns about the old days, all in set in a thick chicago accent, then yes.tragabigzanda wrote:Is he about what I’d expect?Malloy wrote:pure cinema podcast isn't particularly good, but i've listened to their interview with michael madsen two or three times

Re: What podcasts are you listening to?
Anyone else have podcasts that they listen to regularly make the jump to Patreon?
It's happened twice for me in the past two weeks. Hello From The Magic Tavern is moving from Stitcher Premium to Patreon, and although I hesitated for just a moment, I figured $5 a month will basically be nothing--this was the podcast that originally got me to sign up for Stitcher Premium when they jumped there, so I felt like it was a good move to keep supporting them. Then today it was announced that Andy Daly's podcasts--Bonanas for Bonanza and the Andy Daly Postcast Pilot Project--are jumping to Patreon as well, as part of "Comedy Bang Bang World." No idea what the pricing of that is going to be like, but I imagine it's going to be at least $5.
So my yearly podcast budget just went from $40 to $120, it seems. Wave of the future?
