You can probably use corn meal for similar results.

In the oven right now, I actually had some corn meal so I used that. It’s medium ground though so I’m not sure how that’ll turn out. Had some trouble forming the cakes. I’ll get some masa at the store this week and give it another shot and compare

Just a suggestion to salvage the texture.

If you're using corn meal, make sure it's ground as fine as you can get it. I use a mortar and pestle. It really helps with that grittiness.

Try this smoothie after your next workout, health nuts.

I use a frozen bag of banana, peach and pineapple. Throw in some raw spinach, some oat milk, a spoonful of almond butter and two tablespoons of hemp hearts (for protein). Can't beat it for plant based fuel.

Why is it so hard to find raw, unsalted cashews? I don't want them roasted in oil. I don't want salt. I just want the raw goods. You can get almonds, pistachios, and even sunflower seeds this way easily, but raw cashews are like lost treasure for some reason.
