Now there's one that was 10 hours ago, so I'll amend my rebuttal. Those articles criticize In The Heights, but none call for action against Miranda nor do they raise the issue to the level of "crimes against humanity."

Seriously, “crimes against humanity?” That sounds like conservative media spin.

And I don’t like the way he handled it. The guy literally made a play where black people represent the founders. And now this new one is the most Hispanic thing I’ve ever seen in the spotlight (my family is Cuban, they f’n loved it). He should of been polite, of course, but don’t apologize. Someone like him can help delegitimize the crazies.

If they just changed it to “Welcome, beings” would that cover evryone, or not? I’m serious. Would anyone claim exclusion or bias there?

On the other hand…

My sister is a Disney freak. She has taken her kids there like at least 10 times and her husband’s entire wardrobe is either Mickey or Star Wars.

She has trended Qanon-esque in recent years and I think it would be pretty funny if she took up a lifelong boycott of Disney over this.

She already refuses to fly because they take your temp and require a mask on the flight, which threw a wrench in planning a birthday trip with the whole family for my dad’s 80th. Yeah she is really sticking it to The Man with her self-imposed travel restrictions

Americans have spent over $500 billion on weight loss products in the last 15 years. It’s really, really paid off. If the rest of you worldbeings ever wondered how Americans are all so thin and fit, now you know.

But that evident, lasting benefit is now in danger because of Pinterest, a website. How will people with weight problems ever be goaded into self-care, if they aren’t constantly made to feel insecure by the people trying to sell them gimmicky products while they look at pictures of home decor and anime pillows?

The interesting thing is that they used the phrase "banning all weight loss ads" rather than saying they are banning fad diets or diet pills, because that wouldn't signal to the right people, or create the necessary outrage bait.
