I get why you don't personally like him, he's not your taste. But I'd think you'd at least respect his passion for and contributions to the craft.
I respect the hell out of his passion.

If your passion translated as well as his, yes they would.

This is just like Jay-Z retiring, it's a media thing.

Not media as in only media is saying it, media as in it's a ploy to get his next film more media attention.

QT was very adamant on Bill Maher that its over after the next one.

Bill Maher was basically begging him not to quit.

I think QT will quit and in 8 years decide to do another one. A guy like him can't just sit idle.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Tarantino does seem autistic enough to really quit for good. On the other hand, he could make 20 more movies.

RM's QT haters are real jabronis. No one's telling St. Vincent she should stop making shitty music. Mostly because any reasonable person would simply opt to just... not listen to it.

High Life

Frustrating film. I dunno what to think about it really.
