Nah.
The last couple times they dropped something new on us it was Ole and Skipping.
I like Skipping. Admittedly it is probably because I have two young daughters.

Those are both far better than this stuff. I've said it before, but I'm always surprised when I hear pre-PJ work from almost every member how a band so great came out of bands and music that were so bad.
well this music was made by ed 25 years ago? i guess they are pretty ok for a musician starting..and you can hint some of his later trademarks here too.

I'm happy if other people like it; I think it/Bad Radio and Mother Love Bone (which I guess were the two immediate precursors to PJ) are freaking awful.

These demos would be better if Ed's delivery wasn't so breathy

You guys should read the comments section in the Antiquiet article. The people that run that place are fucking lame. They instantly get butt hurt if the readers aren't thrilled with their every post or have the audacity to disagree with their opinions. it's pretty funny actually.

Well, I for one actually really enjoyed that. I'm quite the fan of a bit of the funk so getting to hear one of my favourite singers get down with the funk was pretty fun.

And seriously - it was the 80's. Give the dude a break. Trust me, I was there. In the 80's the 80's was the only place to be. And it rocked. Albeit in a somewhat saxaphoney/synthey/electric drummy kind of way.

Lots of seeds in this lot though - you can hear the start of some things. The guy could certainly sing too. And he's nothing if not sincere, and that's a good thing in my books.

8/10. A most enjoyable (and kinda fascinating) time piece.

are these new bad radio demos? I have a whole cd full of them.

Actually, in fairness, even though most of those songs suck (a few are kinda okay--and I don't know what antiquiet leaked), if I had never heard that stuff before I would think it was pretty cool, from a historical/evolutionary/completionist perspective.

I think Ed deserves some credit for not burying these. I certainly would have.

the sound seems a tad better on some of the tracks?
Homeless (acoustic) I dont think i ever heard before
plus a 30 second cover of What a Wonderful World
and Ed singing over the top of an instrumental track of a Kenny Rogers song? i think were the "unreleased" songs (they claimed)
