You should use your mod powers to officially change his name. Maybe that will start the healing journey.epilogue wrote:A long time ago he said he wanted to be called The Vinyl Guy. He thought that would be cool and because I'm such an awesome guy I decided I'd honor his wishes and call him that (abbreviated as TVG, of course). And then he turns and pulls this shit on me.Mickey wrote:Why do you add the T before his name? It's just VG.
No good deed good unpunished, amirite?
VinylGuy wrote:its really tiresome to see these ¨good guys¨ talking about any political stuff in tv while also being kinda funny and hip and cool....its just...please enough of this shit.

I'm pretty sure now that the account is a bot. If I change the username to anything it'll be "c'mon it was a joke"Mickey wrote:You should use your mod powers to officially change his name. Re: What movies are you watching?
Saw In The Heights in the theatre but I wanted to see it again before it left HBOMax, so we watched it last night.
The movie is legit great. It's been decades since there's been an American Musical Film that is truly relevant and vital. John Chu is a fucking great director.
It's interesting because it occurred to me how similar he is to QT, actually. In terms of scope, cinema (creating cinematic art), framing and fantasy. However, Chu's brand of fantasy is much more my speed. It's (Chu's brand) theatrical and doesn't feel explosive or macho like it does with QT.
Anyway, I need more time to think this all through. Maybe I'm way off. It was just something that hit me last night. Either way, In The Heights is great. It's the best musical film made in like 50 years.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Had an irresponsible teacher show this to our class when I was in 9th grade. This super sheltered Jehovah’s Witness girl was bawling. The teacher wound up getting let go (rumor was a relationship with a student) and later got into a car accident that left him dumb. I have no idea what happened to the JW. I have no recollection of her after 9th grade at all. “Tits on a bull” stuck with me tho.Anders wrote:Glory
